Can I buy yarns/patterns through you directly?
No, sorry! As we are a wholesaler, we do not have an online shop or postal service for members of the public.
You will need to purchase our products through an official King Cole stockist, either in person at your local yarn shop, or through an online retailer.
Locate your nearest stockist by completing our Find A Stockist form.
Do you have a factory shop I can visit in person?
No, as we are a wholesaler, our premises are not open to the public.
Office hours operate Mon-Fri.
I’m a stockist and can’t log into the Members Area to download the yarn/pattern images. Help!
If you aren’t yet a registered member, please send us your account number (beginning with a letter followed by digits), full name, email address and company name for us to set you up. You can use our Contact Us form to get in touch.
Then head to the product you wish to access, click Available Downloads > Pattern/Yarn Images to download the full range.
Can I become a King Cole stockist?
Yes! Please fill in the form on our Become A Stockist page.
Can your giant Spike the Hedgehog visit my shop?
Yes! Please send your request to your area rep first. We can then liaise with them and organise a delivery and collection with your business.

Can I photocopy your pattern and sell it on?
No, all of our knitting patterns are copyrighted and selling a copy in any format (e.g. PDF, photograph, or photocopy) is a clear infringement of this copyright.
If you are currently selling copies, or have seen copies being sold, they must be removed immediately, or the seller will be invoiced for every King Cole pattern copy sold.
Does copyright apply to selling the physical items made from your yarns/patterns?
No, it is fine to sell any garments or toys you make using our yarns/patterns.
I’m making toys using your yarns/patterns, do you have an EN71 certificate?
Yes! Many of our yarns that are used in our toy patterns now have EN71-3 certification. Please find the full list of EN71-3 certified yarns here.
We’re able to request certificates from our manufacturers. If this is something you are interested in please complete our Contact Us form.
